Indonesia is a country located right on the equator in Southeast Asia.

We have summarized my memories of the island country “Indonesia”.

In this article, I will focus on one of many islands: West Java.

Where is “Indonesia”, especially western of jawa ?

It is an archipelago country that stretches 5,110 kilometers from east to west and consists of more than 17,000 islands. It is located above Australia and below the Philippines.

Jawa is divided into four provinces and two special regions.
– Banten [Serang]
Special Capital Region of Jakarta
West Java [Bandung]
– Central Java [Semarang]
– Special Region of Yogyakarta [Yogyakarta]
– East Java [Surabaya]

Summary

There are two main islands, Sao Tome Island and Principe Island, but this blog is written about my impression of Sao Tome Island only.

👍 A lot of rich histories and culture, and each region has its own characteristics.

👍 A state of prices to be low

❌ The population density in the city center is very high

❌ There is room for improvement in transportation

Landscape – More of a mixed atmosphere than a historic townscape

It is surrounded by the sea and has many historical facilities. By taking photos, you can create contrasting memories.

Market – Open-air markets everywhere

You can see a miscellaneous view of many shops lined up in a small space.

Major events in history are still happening today.
It often appears in crafts and specialty products.

Accommodation costs are low. However, in dormitories, the air conditioner may be too effective.

Beer – Sold only at supermarkets in major cities

Alcohol is prohibited in most places. Supermarkets in major cities sell cans and bottles, and some upscale restaurants serve alcohol.

Bus / Train – Points that need improvement as it is crowded

There are many options for moving. However, the roads in big cities are always congested and you may not be able to move forward at all.

Careful – Luggage theft

Regardless of the city or time of day, locals have told me many times, “Please be careful not to have your luggage stolen.”
