The accommodation is budget-friendly with clean rooms that ensure a comfortable stay. The staff are notably amiable. Its prime location facilitates easy access to the Old City and other attractions in Mombasa. Beer is offered at a low price on the first floor.

However, the major downside is the air conditioning. In Mombasa, temperatures can soar above 40°C, but the only cooling available is from a rather inadequate ceiling fan. This can make sleeping difficult, and there’s a risk of heat rash. Additionally, especially during Ramadan, be prepared for loud signals starting around 4 AM.
